Texas Land & Cattle Steakhouse

Service is GREAT... the steak is ok. I ordered medium, came out well done. They use a spice that I just cant quite identify...not my favorite. The mashed potatoes are delicious. I had a glass of wine during lunch and it was $8. Too bad it isn't a little cheaper during early lunch. That would have made this meal much more appetizing!!

Always a great lunch. I used to go with the Chicken Fried Steak. Still recommend it. I just try to eat something a little more healthy these days.

Attended a conference in Austin, TX. On our way back to the airport to head home my wife and I decided to stop at the Texas Land &Cattle restaurant for something to eat. This restaurant reminded us of the Outback Steakhouse's that are located in Nashville. We were greated at the door and seated almost immediately. Our waiter was extremely helpful and very nice. We ordered the Texas Land & Cattle version of the blooming onion as a appetizer. It was very good steakhouse, the food and service were great. If you make it by the restaurant, we hope your visit is as good as ours.

Was good. We stopped by for a quick bite to eat in a middle of the week. Menu is decent and food was good. They made special accommodations for a food allergy. Service was good as well. Lots of room. Seemed a little dark though. Loved the branding irons devider that goes parallel to the bar.

Great dining location. Parking is a bit weird and most of the available parking spaces are located in the rear of the building. This might be due to construction going on at the main road intersection here. I was not sure if this was the case or not. Food was great and service staff is friendly. Our service guest was very well informed on the wine products sold and what options were available.Food was served with great care and brought out in a timely manner.

Mixed results. Nice spinach dip, but don't expect a large serving! Great steak raved one person: well cooked & tender. My steak salad had strips with gristle. The little one's mac n cheese was dry like it didn't get any cheese sauce added! It came with a huge side of french fries that were wonderful, but you can not swap the fries out for anything else more nutritious.My take away country fried steak was huge, but they didn't give much gravy for it and the mashed potatoes....the mashed potatoes that came with it were gross! The texture was poor & had big hunks of peel in it... Couldn't be bothered to peel the potatoes. This entree also had mac and cheese served without any cheese, but at home I could make a sauce.Nice server, pleasant western atmosphere for decor. Seemed well maintained-clean.

A great experience, as usual! Homey atmosphere foodwith great and professional staff. The manager, Zach, by and said hello and even did a magic trick for my kids! I ordered the salmon which was delicious, sides were great! The kids chicken nuggets are fabulous, and my husband's rib eye did not disappoint! Perfectly cooked medium and Trever.My family loves Texas Land and Cattle!
